The request highlights the latest Supreme State Audit report, which exposes the dire state of the healthcare system, with a particular focus on the oncology service.

The Democratic Party’s parliamentary group request notes that the Supreme State Audit report validates ongoing concerns highlighted by the media and cancer patients, including medicine shortages, use of expired drugs, insufficient laboratory testing, and delays in treatment.
The official request submitted to the Albanian Assembly was signed by MPs Bardh Spahia, Manjola Luku, Klit Hoti, Tritan Shehu, Erisa Xhixho, Ledina Alolli, and Eno Bozdo.
