When asked by an Italian Rai 3 journalist whether he regretted the protocol agreement on the refugee camp, which has been put on hold for two years due to the European Court of Justice and the Italian judiciary, Rama stated that when it comes to Italy, he would repeat the same agreement a hundred of times if Italy requested it.
Prime Minister Rama emphasized: “To put it plainly, I remain fully committed to advancing this cooperation with Italy, even in the face of repeated opposition, whether from Italy or other countries. Albania stands ready to fulfil any requests that Italy may deem necessary.”
