The presentation of the title was made at the opening session of the conference for a higher quality and safety of dams, organized by the Albanian Committee of Large and Small Dams, with the presence of the President of the International Committee of Dams.

The motivation for Egon Gjadri reads: Co-designer of the water energy utilization scheme in the course of the Drin river; with original technical-scientific contribution to the design of tunnels of large hydro-technical works and other railway and road constructions; as well as for organizing and professionally leading successful teams for the design of our country’s largest dams, as a successful leader in the creative application of science in design.

While in the motivation for Enver Preza it is stated: For outstanding technical-scientific merits in the field of designing deep cements below large dams, main elements among the most important in the large hydro-technical works built in the Drin river cascade; that solved some of the most complicated problems in the design of cement walls and tunnels; blocking the movement of underground water; personality that even after many decades is difficult to overcome./r.e/p.s./
