During the visit to Hot in Malësia e Madhe, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milva Ekonomi visited the livestock farm of Luçe Hasanaj where over 100 Alpine and Sana goats are imported from France.

“Luçe told me that her passion for work was the impetus for this initiative in which all members of her family are involved,” said Ekonomi.

“Thanks to the support of GIZ and IPARD programs, she has built a goat farm which produces the raw material for their “Veleçiku” dairy-shop – said the minister, while emphasizing that, “in this venture, she has been supported and assisted from the national veterinary service ”.

The Hasanaj family sells its products mostly in the country’s restaurants.

The son of the family Gjovalin Hasanaj takes care of this dairy-shop. He told that the farm has been doing well in these three years and aims to expand production capacity. /j.p/p.s./
