Berisha condemned what he said were statements threatening peace and stability in the region.

He referred to Dačić as “Milošević’s clown” and “the direct political successor of the butcher of the Balkans,” accusing Serbia’s current leadership of ultra-nationalism and hostility towards peace.

The remarks about Prizren once again highlight the danger that Serbian nationalist positions pose to regional stability and cooperation, Berisha stated.

“The Democratic Party strongly condemns this statement by the clown, the direct political successor of Slobodan Milošević, the butcher of the Balkans, which once again shows that Serbia’s current ultranationalist leadership is an enemy of peace and a real threat to regional stability and cooperation,” Berisha wrote.
