The equipment, delivered last month by acting Deputy Chief of Mission Kathryn Hammond, as part of the U.S. government’s robust support of Albania’s growing cybersecurity  amid the rising sophisticated cyber threats.

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana said in a social media post on Monday that cybersecurity is an essential component of national security and of strengthening our collective defense against malicious cyber threats.

“The United States is pleased to have supported Albania in strengthening its cyber defenses – promoting regional and NATO security,” U.S. Embassy said in its statement.
