The draft law on agreement between the two countries has been submitted to parliament for ratification.

The draft law proposed for ratification was initiated as part of the joint commitments made by the two governments to streamline the procedures and measures for border control of cross-border traffic management between the two countries.

The draft law was initiated amid the increasing flow of citizens and goods between our two countries, the will to intensify and develop cooperation, as well as achieve the objectives for upgrading the regional and European transport infrastructure.

The advantages from this agreement are streamlined procedures for the movement of citizens and vehicles during the border crossing, both in the registration and control, joint control and verification and consequently minimizing the processing time of citizens and modes of transport during border crossing, increase of cooperation to meet common security goals, increase cooperation between the parties in border management and control and improve the timely exchange of information, increase and further intensification of police cooperation.
