“In the first 6 months of this year, a significant number of tourists visited museums and archeological parks, expected to be much higher during this tourist season,” Minister Margariti said.

In the 6-month period of 2021, there has been an increase in the number of visitors, especially in cities part of the UNESCO world heritage, such as Berat and Gjirokastra, but also in archaeological parks such as Apolonia, or archaeological sites of Tirana.

In July of this year, the cultural tourism in Berat has seen an upward trend visited by about 30,034 tourists. //a.i/
