Sources from the Port of Saranda reported to ATA that the “Seabourn Quest” cruise with 444 foreign tourists aboard arrived in the port this weekend.

“Tourists of American, British, German and Canadian nationalities disembarked to visit the city of Saranda, Himara and Gjirokastra as well as the various archaeological and touristic sites of these cities,” same sources said.

Meanwhile, during the month of May, Saranda was also visited by the “Silver Moon” cruise, which had 546 passengers on board, of which 229 were US citizens, 174 English citizens, 65 Australian citizens and others from various countries, the “Monet” cruise, etc.

Portrayed as the “White City,” Saranda is surrounded by hills and in front of it lies the Greek island of Corfu. In addition to the sun and lovely beaches, Saranda is also known for its history and culture: the castle of Lëkurës is enchanting, while the Archeological Park of Butrint fascinates many tourists with its thousand-year history.
