Gonxhja wrote in a post in the social media that during the meeting he shared with his Croatian counterpart not only common Mediterranean values, but also a common vision for the development of tourism and cultural and sports exchanges.

“Croatia is a successful model in destination management and in building a strong national brand in tourism; therefore, the cooperation between our two countries is a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and build joint initiatives that strengthen our region as a competitive and attractive destination”, said Gonxhja.

On the sidelines of the 26th General Assembly of UN Tourism, there are being held meetings and discussions on development of sustainable tourism, the promotion of international partnerships, innovation and improvement of tourism strategies at the global level. Gonxhja had meetings with the Secretary-General of UN Tourism Zurab Pololikashvili as well as with Khaby Lame, the influencer with over 200 million followers in the social media and now the Social Ambassador of UN Tourism. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
