The Bank of Albania announces that Tirana is the only region where the credit portfolio has expanded by about ALL 10 billion more compared to the end of 2020.

Tirana has been leading for several years with a steady growth of the loan portfolio for the economy, as the largest urban and economic centre of the country.

At the end of Q1 this year, loan in the region of Tirana accounted for 75.7% of the total portfolio of credit extended by banking system from 74.8% a year ago.
