The Ministry of Health said that some 4113 vaccine doses were administered a day ago.

The Ministry clarified that the total number of reported vaccinations includes also Albanian nationals who have received the COVID-19 jab abroad and that are registered in our integrated systems, to provide everyone the opportunity to complete the vaccination process in Albania or abroad.

The Ministry of Health urged every citizen over 16 to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible as the only way to protect themselves and other people.

“Every citizen over 16 can receive the jab at the nearest health care centre or at the vaccination sites. Vaccination is also open to 12-year-old children with underlying health problems,” the Ministry said, also calling on everyone to receive the booster jab six months after having received the second dose of the vaccine.
