TIRANA, June  21  /ATA/ The Special College of Appeal decided to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission for the dismissal of the judge of Shkodra first-instance court, Albano Çepele.

The decision of the SAC reads that, “the judicial body of the Special Appeal College, composed of Ina Rama chairperson, Rezarta Schuetz rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Mimoza Tasi, Sokol Çomo members, delivered the decision on the case (JR) no. 5/2021, dated 21.01.2021, regarding the appeal of the subject of the re-evaluation Albano Çepele against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 317, dated 20.11.2020.

At the end of the trial in the deliberation chamber, the jury, based on the letter “a”, point 1, article 66, of law no. 84/2016, “On the transitional reevaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, unanimously decided to uphold decision no. 317, dated 20.11.2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, which belongs to the subject of the reevaluation Albano Çepele.
