Rama emphasized that this initiative that comes to life through this resolution is irrelevant to the comments made by different sources.

“Stories have been cooked up, such as bringing SPAK under control, or that we have made up our mind after 10 years to fight corruption. Truth be told, we have been fighting corruption for 10 years, which explains the justice reform and establishment of SPAK, which has had, has and will have the unconditional support of this majority,” said Rama.

“It is exactly the crackdown on corruption which started 10 years ago, the radical transformation of public services through digitalization, the reform of public procurement in tandem with 1 billion euros saved in tenders and Albania’s climb from bottom to the top in regional rankings for this field,” said Rama.

According to the Prime Minister, this explains the opening of Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
