During presentation event of the finalist project ideas for the requalification of the Palace of Congresses, Rama made a balance sheet of the international competitions held by the Albanian Investment Corporation.

“This competition brings our portfolio to 15 completed international design challenges, with three more on the way. Our competitions consistently achieve the highest global standards, defined by renowned architects, expert international juries and rigorous, transparent procedures”, said Rama.

According to him, there are currently 12 contracts signed and 7 other contracts in the process, while there are 3 master plans and 20 public buildings under development.

“The Albanian Investment Corporation revitalizes underutilized state properties, maximizing financial returns and repurposing them for the public interest and institutional needs”, stated Rama.

“The corporation’s initial phase yielded €523 million in contracts, providing more than half a billion euros in direct state benefits, with total contracted profitability surpassing €1 billion”, said Rama.

He noted that while 46,700 m2 of land is currently in use, the state and public institutions have benefited from 267 thousand m2. In total, this entrepreneurial partnership has yielded 355 thousand m2 of public infrastructure and facilities. /j.p/p.s./
