Koçiu, in a post on social media, called this meeting a historic moment for the expansion of cooperation between our two countries in the health sector as well.

“At the meeting of the Joint Committee between Albania and Azerbaijan co-chaired by Belinda Balluku, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania and Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, marking a historic moment for the expansion of cooperation between our two countries even in the healthcare sector,” Koçiu said.

Minister Koçiu emphasized that “during the meeting we exchanged opinions on the priorities of our partnership agenda and the areas with great potential for cooperation in the field of non-communicable diseases and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle; exchange of experience and best practices for mental health and psycho-social support, especially for vulnerable groups, as well as establishing relationships between our health education institutions.”

During this meeting, the participants also discussed what they should do in the future, in areas of common interest, such as energy, economy, agriculture, culture, education, healthcare, etc
