In his speech, Çuçi touched on the fight of the State Police against organized crime in Shkodra and the results achieved.
“Unfortunately, Shkodra has been one of the hot spots in terms of crime, especially organized crime and trafficking in the last 30 years. We have tried hard. We have done a lot. We have many achievements, sometimes we triumphed over crime, sometimes we did not succeed as we should, but here we are today at a special moment for Shkodra, because it is a historical moment to gain momentum in Shkodra.”
Also, Çuçi promised more security for Shkodra, by intensifying the fight against organized crime and trafficking.

“We stand here before you to pledge that we will do everything in our capacity to establish a complete control on the territory in the entire municipality of Shkodra, so that no part of the territory is threatened by organized crime and trafficking. We have begun to do this by restructuring the entire police structure in the center, by profiling figures, different types of crime with sectors that specialize in certain crimes, with a special focus on organized crime. And we will extend this complete restructuring to Shkodra as well, in order to be more efficient in this battle, which I believe is a new page in the history of Shkodra, with this historic victory. I believe that very soon you yourself will witness the change that will come from all this restructuring that we are doing, including the State Police in the future, throughout Albania, but also here in Shkodra,” said Çuçi.
