TIRANA, March 17 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama visited today the city of Fier. Seeing the anticovid vaccination of teachers, he stressed that “breaking the chain of infection in as many points through vaccination and care is the number one priority.”

Accompanied by the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, PM Rama watched closely the vaccination process in Fier.

The head of government told the teachers who had carried out the vaccine that, “It does not have the effect from day one. You can get the vaccine and get the virus if you lose control on the first day.”

“This is a process that must go hand in hand with care, with protection. It is a great misfortune that for political reasons and party interests someone sets the wrong example by gathering people and raising fingers over cars. But, on the other hand it is very important for people to understand that this is a fight for health, for life, for life or death for many people who are more exposed and weaker physically. For this reason, we should all be careful to distance ourselves from absurd situations that show great ignorance and irresponsibility by those who create these situations “, – underlined Rama.

PM Rama said that, “Breaking the chain of infection in as many points through vaccination and through care is the number one priority”.

“The campaign, the elections, the seats in parliament, the seats, the posts are all nothing in front of this challenge and objective. We will continue the intensive vaccination and be careful and the shame remains with those who have it “, – said Rama./p.s./
