Total consumption expenditures are estimated at 64.2 billion ALL per month for 768,963 households.

According to the household budget survey, published today by INSTAT, the average monthly consumption expenditure of households in 2020 increased by 1.5%, compared to 2019.

“The increase in consumer prices in 2020 increased by 1.6% compared to 2019,” INSTAT reports.

INSTAT reported that, a household spent on average 34,713 ALL on food and non-alcoholic beverages, thus occupying 41.6% of the total household budget.

Housing, electricity, water, fuel, rent payment and minor repairs expenditures occupy an average monthly expenditure of 8,357 ALL, which accounts for 10.0% of the total household budget.

While expenditures on furniture, household appliances and regular maintenance of the apartment reach an average of 5,794 ALL per month, which occupies 6.9% of the total budget. //a.i/
