TIRANA, Dec  27  /ATA/ The Central State Film Archive has restored the film “Concert in 1936.”

Prime Minister Edi Rama on Tuesday shared images from the masterfully restored film, which has already brought to the public an added and rescued asset for the Albanian audiovisual heritage.

Rama points out that the film “Concert in 1936”, directed by Saimir Kumbaro and written by Kiço Blushi, has been saved from irreversible discoloration, now masterfully restored, immortalizing the impressive performance of Robert Ndrenika, Mirush Kabashi, Margarita Xhepa and others.

The restoration carried out by the team of digital restoration specialists Koushik Bhattacharya and Ritajit Raychaudhuri in Mumbai, India, consisted in repairing the faded colors of the film “Concert in 1936.”

The film “Concert in 1936” is a 1978 production, directed by Saimir Kumbaro and script written by Kiço Blushi, based on the stories of Dhimitër S. Shuteriqi.
