Vata/ The Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has shared a table of the top 15 employers in Albania in 2021 published by Albanian Stats, pointing out that there is no market economy in the country.

“For those who brag about the great state, this is the result! In the 15 largest employers, 13 are state-owned! There are two explanations for this: Today there is no market economy and competition, today the big state has grabbed everything,” she said in her post on social media.

According to Tabaku, the tax system has failed, therefore a fair system is needed.

“The unfair 6-tier tax system has encouraged businesses to “fragment” and divide into several companies and businesses! Albania today needs a fair tax system; for meritocracy; for free market; and competition! The current system has failed,” she says.
