TIRANA, July 8/ATA/ The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama considered the referred cases of lack of ethics in communication with citizens as unjustifiable, especially by the “Eagle” forces and general patrols, which often go beyond their own role.

During the meeting with representatives of the State Police, the Prime Minister Rama said that, “the increase in cases of lack of ethics in communication with citizens is very significant to understand the general psychological situation and the general level of mobilization of police forces, which are in constant contact with the concerns, needs and complaints of the citizens.

“The very positive image built and consolidated these years in the eyes of the citizens, can in no way be violated, much less hurt, affecting the entire State Police in the optics of public opinion. This is also the priority of all the new leaders of the local police, while the sanctification of the uniform and the protection of the image of the State Police should be a priority as well,” the premier Rama said.

“The State Police has been respected and seen worldwide for several years as one of the institutions with the highest credibility and ethical goals, and the damage to its image due to the recent the resurgence of corruption cases, especially in the traffic police structures is intolerable, the Prime Minister Rama said.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister Rama praised the role of the Internal Affairs and Complaints Service-IACS, while saying that, I want to publicly encourage the IACS to act much stronger against these cases.”

“Lack of ethics, communication, implications of police personnel in abusive actions are disgusting manifestations, which must be fought without any compromise and zero tolerance,” the premier Rama said. //a.i/
