Also, the Technical Committee of Experts decided to scrap the mask-wearing requirement but strongly recommends keeping it indoors.

Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection, Mira Rakacolli, informed that the measures put in place are based on the analysis of epidemiological indicators and declining figures.
She also said that the Committee decided to allow music after 23:00 hrs and reopen nightclubs, scrapping the requirement to present a vaccination document or PCR test for all citizens crossing the border starting from May 1 this year .

“These measures will be evaluated in dynamics against the level of risk in the country or in the world. Despite the current epidemiological situation, indicators show that the pandemic is not over yet. There is high likelihood of mutations which can be even more dangerous. The vaccine remains the most effective way to protect against the disease and the best time to get vaccinated is now, to build up lasting immunity,” she said.
