Mayor of Kukës Safet Gjici gave the news saying,  “The fantastic colors and stunning beauties are in the newest tourist destination of the Trail of Colors. Sheer pleasure to see how many people visit the natural beauty in our Kukes. Over 100 visitors enjoy this fabulous miracle every weekend.”

The Trail of Colors is part of the Korab-Koritnik natural park; it is the newest destination of nature and mountain climbing enthusiasts. The stunning landscapes that create a colorful field are the attractive magic of tourists who fall in love with these amazing mountain plateaus.

The Trail of Colors passes through the Çaja highlands and continues to the Korabi Field. Near this trial is the cross-border triangle Kosovo-Albania-North Macedonia.

Korab-Koritnik Park has 25 natural monuments (the third category of protected areas in Albania). The top of Korab Mountain, the highest in Albania, has a rare beauty. In addition to it, there are other ranges with limestone and gypsum formations, covered with herbaceous plants and alpine pastures, with various types of fragrant flowers during spring and summer.
