The data published by the General Directorate of Customs show that the amount of coffee imported during 2023 increased by about 963 tons, compared to 2022.

During 2023, 8,612 tons of coffee were cleared through customs, from 7,649 tons imported during 2022.

The main countries from which coffee is imported to our country are Greece and Italy.

According to fiscal statistics published by the General Directorate of Customs, coffee imports during the first 7 months of this year increased, compared to the same period a year ago. During the first 7 months of 2021, approximately 5 thousand tons of coffee were imported.

Compared to the 7-month period of 2021, during the period January-July of this year, about 10% more coffee was imported. In the 7 months of 2020, 4615 tons of coffee were imported.
