“In accordance with the best European standards, the certificate will no longer be issued as a separate card, but will be automatically included in the driving license, being reflected as Code 95 in the same document,” a Directorate press release reads.

This change saves time and money for citizens, avoiding repeated applications and additional payments.

With a simplified procedure, drivers will now have only one unified document, more practical and safer.

Also, this step complies with European Union standards, where Code 95 is reflected in the driving license, a practice followed in some European Union countries.
