The news was announced on Monday by the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, who said that active participation in the discussions on the key sectors of the “Blue Economy,” such as maritime security, maritime transport, fisheries, and coastal tourism make Albania a reference point for development of regional policies for maritime security.

The minister informed that in the autumn of this year, this forum will be held in Albania with the participation of 42 delegations and international organizations, as the most important event for the development of regional policies for maritime security.
