The delegation, led by Gendarmerie Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Stephan Nogue, Head of the Security and Justice Department, included experts in public order, the school of magistrates, local governance, the penitentiary system, civil emergencies, and the French firefighting service.

During the visit, according to the AKMC announcement, the delegation was introduced to the organization and functioning of Albania’s civil protection system, the legal framework for disaster risk management, operational structures, and emergency response mechanisms at all administrative levels.

As part of the activity, the delegation visited the premises of the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, where they were introduced to technical aspects and real-time response procedures.

AKMC emphasizes that this exchange represents a significant contribution to strengthening capacities and promoting further inter-institutional cooperation in the field of civil emergency management.
