The Agency announced that according to information provided by the Emergency Response Coordination Centre in Brussels, the Geo-science Institute and Military Meteorological Service, storms and heavy rainfall are expected to batter the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Tirana and Elbasan on Friday, November 22.

Moderate rain is expected to sweep across other regions.

The National Civil Defence Agency has called for heightened readiness of the civil protection and emergency response crews, as well as the institutions tasked with the management and operating water pumping stations, providing water and electricity supply, maintenance of road infrastructure and any other local structure tasked with civil emergency management.

The Agency called on local government authorities and institutions to mobilize the civil emergency crews and monitor the situation in the most endangered areas across the country.
