China has applied a different strategy as it has vaccinated the labour force first and the older people will be vaccinated later. It is just now that China is vaccinating people over 60. Turkey has been intensively vaccinating the elderly with this shot,” Rama said.

According to the Premier, as many as 23 countries around the glove are using the Chinese vaccine and the number of these countries keeps growing, but the main problem everyone is facing is the number of available vaccines.

Rama said the reason he is doing utmost efforts to ensure the population’s mass vaccination is that this year’s tourist season is more relaxed and break the chain of infections.

According to him, the COVIV-19 vaccine eligibility will soon expand to include older adults aged 65, adding that the vaccine is the only weapon to fight the invisible enemy.

”Albania will conduct the mass vaccination faster than many EU member states and Albania will no longer discuss this matter by next spring,” he said.
