TIRANA, Feb  8  /ATA/ Albanian citizens will now travel freely to the People’s Republic of China and the United Arab Emirates.

The news was announced by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhçka, in a briefing after the government meeting.

She said that, “today at the government meeting we adopted two important agreements, which further increase the number of Albanian citizens who can travel without visas. In particular, we have concluded agreements with the government of the People’s Republic of China and the government of the United Arab Emirates.”

Xhaçka said that, these agreements will create more facilities for all those Albanian citizens who wish to travel to these countries either for work, business or tourism. Once the relevant agreements come into force, Albanian citizens will no longer need entry visas. I remind you once again that it is about two countries that have inherent economic relations and this visa-free exchange will bring only benefits.”
