The event entitled ‘You are an Artwork” showcases the unique artistic talents of children with special abilities and needs.

Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the opening ceremony attended by children who exhibit their paintings and their parents.

“You are an Artwork” is a special art exhibition displaying works by children with special needs that reflect impressive spirit and special talents,” PM Rama said in his remarks.

COD Director Eridana Çano said in her opening remarks that the exhibition features more than 70 paintings by talented kids “who invite us to walk in the fantasy of creating authors, presenting us full colourful landscapes, favourite characters, etc.

“The exhibition is part of a project designed to involve children in psycho-social and cultural development activities and in particular in terms of raising awareness for children with different abilities. Every exhibited painting is up for sale and the raised funds will be used to help families of children with different abilities, who cannot afford the therapy costs,” she said.
