A comprehensive survey of 601 companies conducted by the Investment Council Secretariat has highlighted important findings on business challenges related to informality, productivity and innovation. The Secretariat published the main findings which show that 77% of companies are drawing up strategies to invest in increasing productivity.

Digitization has also been identified as an important factor for ensuring efficient communication with the tax administration and improvement of customer service.

On the other hand, innovation and efficient allocation of resources, especially in research and development, are seen as priorities for increasing sustainable competitiveness and productivity.
