But, in addition to the dam, the municipality is also rehabilitating the road that leads to Lake Ҁerkeza.

Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, who inspected the works for the rehabilitation of the dam and the road to the lake, said that they will be completed by the end of August. He also took the opportunity to invite citizens and businesses to invest in agritourism in this area, to transform it into another destination, such as Farka Lake Park.

“This lake was conceived, just like the Farka lake, only for irrigation, but today, in addition to irrigation, we have created the possibility that it also serves as a space for entertainment and relaxation. Along with the dam, we also invested in the road, so it will be even easier to come to Ҁerkeza, only 15 km away from Tirana.
