The meeting focused on the CEFTA Risk Management Strategy for the period 2025-2028 as well as the implementation of a pilot project to set up an electronic system within the SEED+ platform, aimed at facilitating risk management for goods trade in the region.

Customs cooperation on tariff classification and rules of origin was another key topic of discussion, focused on enhancing standards and transparency in cross-border trade among CEFTA member states.
Participants also discussed recent developments concerning Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) and the rollout of the updated convention on electronic certificates of origin, designed to streamline and digitalize trade processes across the region.
The meeting emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in the customs sector as a key step toward increasing trade efficiency and enhancing economic integration among CEFTA countries.
