The signing was made during a visit to Tirana by a delegation from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, during which the CDP CEO met with the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister for Entrepreneurship Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of Finance Ervin Mete and the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Environment Vima Bello. The meetings were an opportunity to illustrate the strategy that CDP intends to pursue to support the country’s public and private sector in favor of sustainable and inclusive growth.

Minister of Entrepreneurship and Business Climate Delina Ibrahimaj, in the speech after the signing, expressed her appreciation for CDP’s cooperative spirit and optimism for the impact of this agreement.

“The future looks promising as our two countries embark on this cooperation journey. The Memorandum of Understanding that was signed today is not just a document, but it also builds a bridge towards increasing bilateral cooperation between our countries, marking a new chapter in our common journey towards sustainable development and economic prosperity.

Further on, during the day, the General Director of CDP signed a financing contract in the total amount of 10 million Euros with Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, represented at the signing ceremony by its CEO Alessandro D’Oria. The initiative is part of a financing program divided into several installments which will affect other countries where the Intesa Sanpaolo is present. /p.s./
