In a press release, the Constitutional Court announced that the case had been adjourned because the rapporteur of the case had tested positive for COVID-19.

The case initiated at the request of Parliament of the Republic of Albania with the object “On the dismissal of President of the Republic of Albania for serious violations of the Constitution “scheduled to take place in the public plenary session on January 18 at 10:00hrs, in accordance with the law “On the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania”, as amended, has been adjourned until February 1, 2022 at 10:00 hrs, because the rapporteur of the case has tested positive for COVID-19, ” according to sources from Constitutional Court.
