Thus, even after the recounting of votes, the Socialist Party has got 5 seats and the Democratic Party 2.

Meanwhile, the Socialist Movement for Integration received only 15 votes more, far from the 77 votes needed to get the mandate from the SP.

The SP reprehensive Eridian Salianji stated that recounting of votes confirmed that the process was fair and legitimate.

While the SMI representative Altin Kaziaj demanded investigation because even change of this result is not small./r.e/p.s./

Vata/ – The Commission for Appeals and Sanctions reviewed Tuesday the request forwarded by the main opposition Democratic Party to ask for additional information from other public institutions and the Socialist Movement for Integration claims over the alleged irregularities committed during the electoral process in Vlora.

After discussions, the Commission for Appeals and Sanction decided to turn down the DP request to gather additional information from other public institutions regarding the opposition claims over the alleged irregularities during the April 25 general elections in the country.

The Commission accepted the SMI request regarding the number of the electronic voters’ identification devices that have been operational during the electoral process in Vlora county.
