TIRANA, June  21 /ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, shared a photo of her with prof. Arben Baboçi, whom she esteemed as one of the founders of Albanian cardiac surgery.

Manastirliu emphasized that, “Prof. Arben Baboçi, has wisely and professionally been able to convey his knowledge to the younger generations of cardiac surgeons at QSUT, where today heart surgeries are performed using advanced methods, as in European hospitals.”

The Minister also emphasized that the investment for the reconstruction of the Cardiology Hospital up to the standards will soon kick off.

“We are gearing up to kick off a long-awaited investment in the reconstruction of the Cardiology Hospital up to the standards, as part of our plan for the modernization of QSUT (Tirana University Hospital Centre),” Manastirliu said.
