Prime Minister Edi Rama has published on social networks views of the Ionian coast.

The stunning social media footage of the Ionian coast captures vacationers swimming and canoeing in the crystal-clear blue waters. The sunlit panorama sets a quintessential summer mood.

During peak summer, southern Albania’s Ionian coast draws large crowds of local and foreign visitors. PM Rama regularly promotes these Riviera landscapes and water activities online. The stunning sea and nature continue to make the area a top destination for summer vacationers.

During the travel by canoe, tourists explore the nature on both sides of the river together with the rare biodiversity of this area.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today on social media images of tourists canoeing on the Buna River.

“Good morning and with these spectacular views over the Buna river in Shkodër, I wish you a nice weekend”, said Rama.

Several tourism associations have expressed support for this adventure tourism through many projects and in cooperation with the guides and tour operators of the area are doing their best to attract as many tourists as possible.

Now, Shkodra, with its many natural and historical beauties, has also added canoeing, this new type of adventure tourism that will certainly have a growing trend year after year.

During the canoeing on the Buna river you can see the birds that are on the river side, in the reeds there are several species: the little white heron (Egretta garzetta); moorhen (Gallinula chloropus); the sedge warbler (Tringa glareola) or many other waders that can be easily observed with the eyes or with optical tools like a telescope or binoculars./k.s/p.s./
