This mini-field honors the young Albanian talent, serving both as a tribute and a recreational haven for local children.

Attending the inauguration event was member of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association Anila Basha, as well as Martin Cani’s parents.

“In memory of Martin, this new field serves as a lasting tribute and a beacon for youth development. By investing in this facility, the Federation provides a positive alternative to violence, fostering community and encouraging children to embrace the transformative power of sport,” said Basha.

Parents of the late Martin Cani honored by Association’s memorial pitch. ‘We are incredibly proud,’ said mother Florina, ‘that this field will transmit Martini’s positive energy to all children.’ Father Angel thanked the Association for creating a lasting, valuable legacy for the community.

Beyond mere infrastructure, this Albanian Football Association investment represents a beacon of hope and memory, highlighting sport’s vital role in education, inclusion, and societal development. /p.s./
