TIRANA, Aug 28 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Monday that the Cadastre already works as a system hostile to corruption and friendly to the citizen, while work is in full swing to improve and increase its efficiency.

Rama shared on social media a real picture of the applications that are made in the online system, emphasizing that everything is carried out without a physical counter and without contact with employees.

“There are claims that the new Cadastre system does not work. This is just a picture of the workflow of the digital system, which clearly shows the incoming and outgoing dates of applications, without a counter, without physical contact with employees, without the possibility of intervention from the top, bottom, from the side to receive and give favors, no chance for bribes because the system does not make friends and without all the setbacks and horrors of the past in accessing the service,” Rama said.

Meanwhile, the prime minister affirmed that it is true that the old system no longer works.

“The network of brokers, influence peddling, cockroaches and rats inside the cadastre, who continue to give up due to dirty sources drying up continues to be dismantled day to day, the work is in full swing to increase the efficiency of the new system, which still has its own flaws, but even as it is, has passed two crucial tests, as a system hostile to corruption and friendly to the citizen,” Rama said. /m.m/sm/
