The police operation led to the confiscation of 30 firearms, explosive material, guns, ammunition and other equipment. These weapons were found at two locations believed to have been used by the group since the attack.

Deputy Director of Kosovo’s Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, said in a press statement that the operation was conducted with the Agency for Investigation and that the cache of weapons was found at several locations that were also used by the members of the terrorist group responsible for the Banjska attack.

“We’ve identified these locations associated with Marjan Radojevic and Zharko Cvetkovic in connection with the Banjska incident,” Elshani said.

A former officer has been detained and questioned in relation to the seizure. The operation aimed to disrupt the group’s activities and prevent further violence in the region.
