Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage today from the ongoing works on the road segment, which stretches for around 5 kilometres.

Rama said the new bypass will provide a new access route to and from the city of Sarandë, significantly improving road infrastructure, easing traffic flow, and reducing congestion, particularly during the tourist season.

“The project also includes the construction of a 750-metre-long tunnel, a major engineering structure that will improve safety and raise mobility standards for residents and visitors,” Rama said.
