Authorities in the country say that indirect indicators show that the country’s economic climate is stimulating for business.
During the year 2022, about 11,376 businesses were opened and 2,629 such businesses were suspended. The figures are more positive than those of 2021, when 10,128 businesses were opened and 2,777 were closed.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy announces that the turnover of the sectors for the period January-May has continued to grow, spread in most of the main sectors.

For this period, turnover has increased by 4.3%, where the main contribution and the biggest increase was recorded by the service sector with 15% and the construction sector with an increase of 14%.

While income from profit tax for the period January-May have increased by 41% or 8 billion ALL, compared to the 5-month of last year, which also includes the income from special tax for the largest production companies of energy.
