According to her, the increase in budget projections is attributed to the increase in taxes rather than the well-being of citizens.

“You are bombarded with a barrage of information to the point of exhaustion and boredom that this is the “biggest budget ever.” But which is the reason we see this budget? In 10 years, taxes have increased by 3 billion Euros, mainly as a burden on the middle class”, said Tabaku.

“But what happened to the economy? Has this growth been reflected in the well-being, support of the middle class, information technology, education? Absolutely not!”, underlines Tabaku.

“If the price increase was 25%, the real wage increase was 16%. If the price increase was 25%, the average wage increase was also 25%. In both cases, less than the price increase, which has certainly hit the pockets of the citizens,” the Democratic Party MP said.

Tabaku further emphasizes that the middle class and regular taxpayers are those penalized the most.
“The middle class, the regular taxpayers, pay the biggest tax burden, but does it go to the right place? The answer is of course Not! Because the answer in every budget is concessions and PPP, not in the service of the growth and welfare of the society,” Tabaku concludes.
