TIRANA, June  19 /ATA/ Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, held on Monday the mid-year meeting with the International Monetary Fund mission headed by Anke Weber.

“During the several-day stay, both our teams analyzed and highlighted the current developments of the Albanian economy,” Ibrahimaj announced.

The main topics during discussion with the high-level heads of the MoFE were fiscal and budget policies, revenue collection performance and their perspective, the progress of budget expenditures, the measures taken to reduce the public debt and the handling of fiscal risks, as well as pensions, demographics and the labor market.
