With a total of 735.9 billion ALL in general expenses, the budget of 2024 prioritizes the support for social care of Albanians.

The Media and Information Agency published data on the total of these budget expenditures for the year 2024, stating that “the government has predicted that 1/3 of them or 33.4% will go to social protection and the needy.”

“FACT: 1/3 of the general public expenditures foreseen in the 2024 budget will go to social protection and categories in need, from the elderly to newborns.”

More specifically, these expenses are dedicated to the pension scheme, economic assistance, disability payment, unemployment payment, social assistance, baby bonus as well as for ex-persecuted and ex-landowners.
