PRISTINA, March 21 /ATA/- Kosovo government decided at a regular meeting on Monday to allocate a state budget fund of 7.278 million euros in subsidies for electricity rates for households and businesses, aiming to keep tariffs unchanged as import prices rise.

The decision is part of the government support to overcome energy crisis under the Economic Recovery Package.

“The allocated fund will be used to subsidize the electricity for the end users, in a bid to relieve effects of the increased electricity tariffs reflected in the consumers’ monthly bills,” the Prime Minister’s office said in a press release.
