During the meeting they discussed on Albania’s results in the Bertelsmann Transformation Index (BTI) for 2024.

Pirdeni emphasized that according to this index, Albania is a country with good governance, ranking 13th in the world out of 137 developing countries.

“The index confirms that Albania is a country with good governance, ranking 13th in the world out of 137 developing and transforming countries analyzed for the governance index,” Pirdeni emphasized.

“Albania is only one of eight BTI countries that have made substantial political progress in the last decade,” Pirdeni underlined.

Particularly important, the minister added, “is the rapid improvement in the quality of governance, which has increased by 1.69 points in the BTI over the last ten years, ranking Albania among the three countries with the greatest improvement in governance in the world”.

“The country has made progress in all areas of governance, according to the report, but, with an increase of 2.0 points, especially in the area of ​​resource efficiency, including anti-corruption policies”, Pirdeni further emphasized. /j.p/p.s./
